Maudee's was an eclectic lunch spot for over 25 years. It started as "Friends" in Snider Plaza and when Lynn McIlhaney bought it, she moved the great recipes and menus to 4333 Lovers Lane and renamed it for her Grandmother, Maude.
Over the years, menu items were added, but the same basic down home recipes that were enjoyed by her grandmother were served daily. Afternoon tea was added by Meredith Strode in 2002 and these great traditions were expanded under the stewardship of Mack & Sharon Yarbrough who acquired Maudee's in 2005.
On September 25, 2015, we closed the doors to the brick and mortar portion of our operations and now concentrate on catering. We offer services for any event, large or small, including afternoon tea.
As we transition from the brick & mortar operation of Maudee's Cafe and Tea Room to offering catering of our products and offsite tea service, we will be updating this web site with news and offers.
